Game not loading

Uninstall–Reinstall after app update got me back into the game.

I am plagued with the spinning this morning. Nothing loading. Reinstalled, nothing. FFS ?

Same here. I haven’t had the update appear yet. I tried uninstall and reinstall and it worked for about a day or so, now I get the spinning donut again. Very frustrating.

No news yet on when that next update to fix iOS and sort Xylem is due out

" We're still working to get an update out to you, but in the meantime if your account is bound to an EA Account, it is absolutely safe to try deleting the app and redownload it. Then sign back into your EA Account, and you’ll be back into your Springfield and tapping to your heart's content. Many players are reporting this has solved their issue.
If your account is not an EA Account, or you’re unsure, please take no action at this time. The upcoming update should allow you to get back in without losing any progress.
While we know hearing "Coming Soon" is dreaded - it is coming, and the plan remains the same. Once the issue is resolved with an App Store update, we will extend the event and provide an in-game token of appreciation to our iOS users, along with the Xylem bundle fix.

Hey TSTO Fans,

The new update is starting to appear on the App Store. Please be aware it can appear in each region at different times, so if it isn’t available for you yet, it will be shortly.

If you are one of the players stuck on the loading screen, we're hopeful this will let you play normally without having to perform a reinstallation. There is a chance that players, even unaffected ones, may be asked to re-verify their age after performing the update.

After performing the update, all players should see the extended dates for the Treehouse of Horror event, as well as the Xylem bundle resolution. iOS players will also receive their token of appreciation.
Once again, we thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked to resolve this.

... and here's what I think it does:

This will hopefully fix the iOS issue and I believe you'll get 2 Mystery Box tokens ( would cost 120 Ds or trade for 24 ) if you're on iOS.

The event has been extended by a week but it looks like just the end date changed and not the act start dates ( times in UTC ) ...

You should also see Xylem in your store as a free item if you don't already have him - woohoo !!

^^I will be the first to thank EA. Thank you for fixing the issues in a timely manner. I appreciate the free character, the tokens were a nice touch.

Oh no. My game was working fine until the update. Now I have this thing where I can't log in at all owing to age.

This is the only date I can enter.

Is it because the bottom arrow isn’t visible to scroll down to older years? You have to try inputting any date so the bottom arrow button reveals itself. It’s tricky. Also you may not be noticing a “done” button in the bottom right corner of your screen. These both were confusing hurdles for me at first.

Tried again but still it will only show that date. Frustrating. No way to scroll through numbers either.
