I tested it there and it worked for me. Splashed out the 15 for a buddha and got a bench with a coat. I didn't collect it as soon as I saw what it was I held the home and sleep button until it crashed and then when I went back in and my 15 doughnuts were still there. Tried it one more time to be sure and got a green dumpster, did a hard reset and went back in, doughnuts still there. That said its quite an annoying and tedious process and don't think I'll do it myself only to be subjected to a number of benches and dumpsters..... not to mention I've bought pretty much every premium already anyway.
soooooo basically what you are doing is...holding the down button and the shut down button at the same time. I tested it it completly resets the ipod in like 5 seconds right??
Yeah it 'resets' it but it doesn't really do anything to your device, its just like restarting your computer. But as brendathorne says it is risky, one because all that restarting could damage your iDevice (although I have no idea I'm no tech specialist) plus if you're too slow it might save and you're stuck with your crappy white fences. You might also be in for a long tedious run of dumpsters, benches and burning bushes.
Although if you do try it out you could give us a chart of your buddha successes/failures because there are frequently treads posted wondering about odds of getting something good in buddhas/mystery boxes.

If I jailbreak my ipod I lose my 60$ warranty for 2 years if my ipod breaks, also I want the future updates on Ios, so there is no way I am going to jailbreak my device. getting around the system game to exploit is much more intelligent and its more to be proud of than using a hack someone else made...its too easy. I knew I would figure out a way to exploit these donuts some day or another.

Actually no, not on an device such as apples one. my friend home button got stuck and it was useless, so he had to turn off the ipod so he can get out of an application. he returned it and because of his warranty he got a new one....warranty useless?? not so sure. also it came in really handy for me in the past when I bought a plasma tv and my stupid uncle broke it wit hhis guitar neck. I went to store and got a new one...useless? not so sure...I just saved 1200$ on that warranty...you mad?

If you take care of your stuff you don't have to worry about it breaking. As for your plasma TV, I'm sure the warranty doesn't cover your uncles clumsiness. What you did by returning that TV was illegal and immoral. Usually when the warranty covers a product, the product will last a little bit longer then the warranty itself. If your car's transmission is under warrant until 100,000 miles, you can almost be it will have problems in the next 10,000 miles. Manufactures test their products and know when they are going to fail.
