I only got 5 donuts. Why did it give me 4 less than everyone?

I had a task to get 5 Hollywood trophies, and the reward was another 5 trophies. Useless for me since I had over 200 stored and had to spend some to be able to finish he task.

Well I thought I wasn't going to get my last box (less the a day), and then I got my final box with 10 donuts in it.
And another 7-10 from quest I might go into shock from all the excitement.

Me too I just bought like 70 of them. I was so disappointed at the cost of them during the event. I was hardly able to get much of anything in that event. I barely managed to get one of everything and literally had what I needed for the last thing as was forced to update as I was about to get that last thing.

Thanks for mentioning this. I didn't notice anything new in the store and I was only able to craft one stadium fence during the event. I just bought enough to go around my whole town.

I got 11 somehow. I guess I'm just lucky. (Yeah, right. Me lucky. There's a laugh.)

Since the next Challenge starts at 2 AM my time (Central US), do I have to have finished and tapped out the 2 tasks I have running before 2 AM to get the payout?

Geeze! I got so distracted I forgot to Find Maggie! Now she's out of sync with the 16 hour buildings...

This is what I want to know. My guess would be that the tasks roll over and from 2AM a new task will be added. Just like how it was during Christmas, if you missed a few days you could still catch up by the end of the week. That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

I went into my anonymous game and played though until I got the Challenges started and left them running overnight. When I got up today I tapped them out and got the payouts, so it looks like as long as you start them on the day of you'll get the payout.

So, I got 4 challenges on the first day, but I only got one challenge today. That makes sense; I just wanted to make sure every one else is getting the same thing.

It seems that on a continuing basis, there will be 1 challenge per day. Complete 5 challenges to get the bonus donuts. Payouts for individual challenges seem to be somewhat random. Others have said there are cash/currency prizes. Mine were all donuts (1-3-1-3-1+3bonus). So it's similar to the Mystery box in that there is something every day, on a 5-day cycle. Nice thing is there's always donuts at the end of the tunnel!

That's my understanding of it too. However, even with LP's helpful table, I don't really have a sense of the likelyhood of a given day's challenge to reward donuts. Is it maybe 50-50? Higher with the opportunity to dismiss a task? I got an in-game cash task, dismissed it and got another one. Am I unlucky or is this just par for the course?

I'm not sure I can do 5 tasks every day, but I got about 8 donuts total yesterday (plus another from the Maggie game). I'm positive though that not wasting those donuts on that Taligate decoration :lol: .
