Second, if this were any other event (Halloween, Christmas, etc.), we would have MULTIPLE buildings and characters at this point. I've already pointed out how during Halloween 2013 (or any other major event) we would have so multiple times more prizes than Easter. Let me break it down for you.

Christmas 2013 (DAY 4):

So as you can see, the pace of we are getting prizes for Easter is UTTERLY pathetic even given your grossly optimistic projections. The way that past events have always been is that we get a bunch of prizes in the beginning and then it slows down toward the end; but, we would still always get a prize every two-three days. (After, we still get community prizes.)
For Easter, unless you work like a dog, you will only get 1/2 building + 1/2 characters the ENTIRE event. This event is completely inaccessible to the casual player who doesn't visit all his neighbors everyday because he's coming out of this with nothing. I don't know why he would even bother playing this event.
That's the whole point. People used to complain that the events were too short and easy. Now it isn't.
