Halloween 2013 disaster

I feel ya dude. I've got a real issue with EA but sadly they have the games I want to play. If only Matt Groening had teamed up with Rockstar. :cry:

Lmfao yeah my friend just lent me GTA 5, might have to play that for awhile till they sort this out.

I'm hoping the next level update will include some bug fixes that might take care of some issues...I'm speculating we might get level 36 on Thurs/Fri...fingers crossed..

God bless it, I spoke to soon! I now have a haunted Rod (or Todd, I don't know which is which) floating around my town, when he's actually playing on the seesaw with his brother. Whenever I tap on him it just zooms me over to the seesaw. :/

I'm totally willing to wait. I can still collect goo from friends, but my town is nearly unplayable. Things not nearly as bad a those folks who have Lisa in the ocean and cant progress the questline. Just disappointed the event has been marred by these glitches and cant enjoy the update like folks who havent been affected. Heard that the firehouse was placed in the files and then taken away so I know its coming up. Fingers crossed. My town needs a massive redesign after this debacle. I stored so much stuff in hopes it would fix the gameplay but to no avail.

Lmfao Airion, I had that glitch too. Sent him off too eat sugar after doing that on the seesaw and hes decided to live in Shelbyville or Mechanicsburg since then..

I have really enjoyed the update, best one so far! However i agree there are some glitches that are just inacceptable especially with the amount of money people put into this game. the mosy annoying thing for me is the fact that most of the tasks now do not work properly, water task dont involve water, legs and louis amble around like lost senile oaps. And the trick or treaters dont even go to houses anymore

I hope the issues gets resolved as well, but...EA doesn't have a good track record on quickly resolving issues. Or even, you know, resolving them at all. The fact that the duplicate SVT issue still exists is evidence of that.

This event started out fun, now it is a disaster. Which is fitting I suppose, EA did indeed promise us a nightmare.

As for the people saying "If you don't like it, don't play"...no problem. I have no Lisa, I couldn't progress in the event quest if I wanted to. I have 10,000 Goo, what we do doesn't affect the community total, and the donuts from every 2K Goo aren't going to bring Lisa back, so eff it.

Although my game has been bug free for the most part except Louie vanishing for a couple of days, I stored then replaced fat tonys compound and he returned, and some serious lag in some friends towns I feel for the OP. When people pay the kind of money the Op says he has for this game theirs a reasonable expectation that it will perform properly. Someone, aka Trolls,Telling a person to just quit the game and stop complaining because there game isn't full of bugs is plain ignorant. From the posts here and elsewhere this update is infested with bugs that effects some and not others. There complaints are valid.
