Halloween Act 2 Lost In La Monstra Part 9 Help?

So I've got up to part 9 in act 2 and one of my objectives is to make Springfielders consider their options. Which I just can't do. I thought I had to "Battle 3 giant monsters" first, which I've done,...

So I think I found out this problem, you need Springfielders who aren't basically a main character or anyone who fights the monsters, basically making it impossible for newer players who don't have them kind of characters, GG EA.
