- I did enjoy this event, not my favorite by far, but I did enjoy it. Everyone was able to get everything, even extra donuts and cash! I enjoy buildings and new characters more, but I am so excitied for what July could bring. That said, this event was really good and probably one of the best yet.
- bluyoshi88810Seasoned NewcomerI believe they did a good job with this event. There weren't any chance related gimmicks so nobody would get frustrated. They released everything Stonecutter related they possibly could (the Alien, Stonecutter Daycare Center and even new sound clips) and they gave us Satan's Anvil for free (which was in the files forever).

With Josh's post, claiming many players don't like the update/the update was a waste of time as usual, I wanted to create a poll to contrast this.
Yay. Troll is back one hour and already there's threads responding to his negativity. The forum was nice for a while. It's funny how quickly people jump on his band wagon. But sheep do need a herder...
Imho this was the best event I've played.
Not only did it restore my frustration from easter, it renewed my enjoyment for building my town, which is how i finished my full rebuild.
The event required a lot of attention, but that effort was actually rewarded! I found it very easy for even a freemium to acquire all the prizes.
I don't mind they are skins. We have been asking for new tasks for the regular characters for a long time. That's what skins are!
And the final prizes weren't like individual iconic features, like say... Skorpio's Lair, but we now all have a complete SC section with walls, lodge, table, and more, within having to spend mad donuts. And naked Homer on the stone is hilarious, i don't care what trolls say about it.
The event was awesome. If you don't think so, you really should just stop playing this game because this is about as good as it gets.
I'd like to not be called a sheep, thanks. I loved this event, I'm trying to show josh thst the majority of players do to. I not responding to negativity at all.
My apologies; the way i worded that sounds like i was including you as one of his followers, rather than someone attempting to contrast the negativity of him and his fans. My bad.
And @icognita:
Yes i respect anyone's RATIONAL opinion whether it differs or not. But no, i don't give equal weight to irrational ones that infer nothing is ever good enough because the event didn't address and satisfy the desires of individual players with extraordinarily high expectations. neuroheart wrote:
This has been my favorite event ever. I could only name two or three flaws, none of which have really decreased my enjoyment. :)
My absolute favorite as well. The thing I liked VERY MOST is that I had the ability to treat every single neighbor identically. I didn't need to worry about rationing out random numbers of gift bags or gremlins or (shudder) baskets. I was completely in control, and everyone could receive the same benefit from my visits.
THAT is what was the most positive change of all.
Lots more! I like that they made it last long enough that we didn't have people (myself included) get all the prizes the first week and then sit around and wait, accruing useless gift cards. For the Parchment Puzzle prizes, everyone got the prizes on the same day, and they dragged it out just enough to keep everyone active for a long time.
Adding the free-donuts-every-3,000-emblems after completion was GENIUS. Especially offering THREE.
Having the series of four tasks per day was a wonderful way to get us to come into the game more frequently, though the task times were poorly thought out, IMO. And having the emblems drop to zero before neighbor rounds completed was another flaw. But in MY opinion, those two issues PALE by comparison to the event as a whole.
It's been a BLAST! I've not had so much fun since I first started. :)annettemarc wrote:

Dead on as usual, Annette!
The only other flaw I can think of is that I wish more/all stonecutters had the option to sing at the table. And the No Homers club should be a thing. But really, it's been so enjoyable, and emblems aren't in short supply, so I'm not bothered about the 60 action limit. It also didn't bother me if I couldn't always complete all of the Number One tasks, though I usually did.- So sorry! I clicked the top one by accident and it should have been the second one :?
Now I'm one of 3 grumps! - I can only reiterate what Annette and Neuro have already said so eloquently. I've had a blast--earned all the prizes and a few donuts as well. Even took the plunge and spent some real money on donuts to acquire Frink and his skin, which I'd been planning to do someday, but got caught up in the excitement. No regrets.
Hope future events are like this one! penalak1 wrote:
No it was terrible without the wheel, I wish we would have it back
I hate how mostly skins were prizes instead of cool items
Hope they make better events in the future chance based
The Easter event was the perfect event tbh since I got every cool item and character
Hated how we had to log in 5 times a day for this event to get all the prizes
You were being ironic about the wheel right?!
Easter sucked for me, I was left really frustrated and kept getting the same prizes ?- I liked this event. The prizes weren't too spectacular, but at least it gave me something to do this June.
- I liked the pace of this event, there was something to do every day. Some of the prizes were not terribly exciting but they were appropriate to the event. This has been my favourite to date, but I haven't been around for all events, started playing in March 2013
