- While I like the event and prizes, EA still makes decisions that are bad for players that are not able to play with a timeschedule (because of their jobs) and when you miss no 1 tasks it can really set you back. I get fewer neighbourvisits nowadays as there is no reason for people that are finished to visit others (well some for a few donuts, but all have the friendship prizes). I only get 60 actions a day. Because of that I need to first check all the Stonecutterbuildings at the neighbours so I get 5 emblems instead of 1. After that I revisit to help others. That takes a lot of time!
If we weren't limited to 60 actions I would have been able to get all the prizes. Now it looks like I might miss the last 2 prizes.
I wish the event wasn't so dependent on the help of others or a daily clock. I don't see the fun in that- it only gives frustration. I liked it when it was just collecting and I could decide for myself at what time of the day I play the game.
And before I get reactions for people telling me how easy it was to collect everything: Good for you. You had the time to finish the no 1 tasks and had more willing neighbours that helped you. Be glad it worked out for you, I'm just pointing out it isn't working for me. I hope they extend the event. - I enjoyed but I didn't get very far. I have about 6500 emblems right now (I've been so busy lately!) and I haven't been visiting so I guess I didn't get to make the most of it, but I'm okay with that.

This has been my favorite event ever. I could only name two or three flaws, none of which have really decreased my enjoyment. :)
My absolute favorite as well. The thing I liked VERY MOST is that I had the ability to treat every single neighbor identically. I didn't need to worry about rationing out random numbers of gift bags or gremlins or (shudder) baskets. I was completely in control, and everyone could receive the same benefit from my visits.
THAT is what was the most positive change of all.
Lots more! I like that they made it last long enough that we didn't have people (myself included) get all the prizes the first week and then sit around and wait, accruing useless gift cards. For the Parchment Puzzle prizes, everyone got the prizes on the same day, and they dragged it out just enough to keep everyone active for a long time.
Adding the free-donuts-every-3,000-emblems after completion was GENIUS. Especially offering THREE.
Having the series of four tasks per day was a wonderful way to get us to come into the game more frequently, though the task times were poorly thought out, IMO. And having the emblems drop to zero before neighbor rounds completed was another flaw. But in MY opinion, those two issues PALE by comparison to the event as a whole.
It's been a BLAST! I've not had so much fun since I first started. :)
My thoughts too. Best event I've had (started mid-Dec 2013). Enjoyed the challenges. Glad EA dropped the 18/20 hour days stuff. I've made the 1000 everyday, but it was getting to be a grind staying up past midnight.- I think a big thing is people are comparing this event to the last Easter and Christmas events which were terrible so yes this event was by far better than those but by far my favorite event was last years Whacking Day because I had a blast making designs and messages in my friends towns with eggs. (something I think the devs did not consider) Aside from a couple of folks being eggstreamly greedy and not following through with promises it was the most fun I had and made some great friends that I still PM with.
Allot of times for me an event is more than the prizes but the community camaraderie !!
I still get warm and fuzzy when our great friend NEO made a request and we all came together as a group and made it happen for his little girl. Those are the things that make an event great IMO!! rolybert7 wrote:

Well I'm comparing it to all the events I've played, starting with last Halloween (which it has a lot in common with)
I didn't get to play Whacking Day because the kindle release was right after that ended. So of the events I've played, I like this the best.- I've really enjoyed this event. I like that I could get everything by playing the game and not relying on luck.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all! No, really, I am the worst gambler! - I really enjoyed this event. I love the money pool and have Burns swim in it. I like the puzzles that we got once a day, but that they didn't expire. If you got the parchment wall today (and had the necessary characters,) you could still get all the puzzles done. This event did favor those who can log in often, but most events do. EA bring on more events like this :)
