Help me get my Gate to Nowhere!

I have 6311 smores on my main screen . Lower left right next to my 93 nightmares to give out to friends. But when I click on the campfire upgrade so I can get my gate it says I only have 1300 or so of 4000 something needed to unlock the gate. With 1 day left there is no way I can get 3000 smores. How do I use the 6,311? I play all the time and have a lot of friends. What do I do?


The smores you have will not be useful in Act II unless we are allowed to work on Act I prizes after Act I finishes. I do not know if that is how this event will work. If not, then if you want the gate you could pay donuts, or wait to see if it becomes craftable after Act I.

If it was me, and I could not get the gate, then I would not pay donuts for it. It gives 24 random nightmares every 24 hrs during the event, and $$/XP after the event. A premium kid would probably be a better buy for the donuts.

Edit: By the way, if I didn't already have Kearney and SVT, I'd buy a few mystery boxes for 6 donuts each in an attempt to get them.

    everyone who is interested please list how high you are in your campfire levels
    and how high you plan on going to???

    What's the harm in keeping on going? There's nothing in any one material type that I need desperately.

    *Hidden Spoilers*
    As it stands, I've got around 4.5k of each material type. I'll be crafting Kodos (a minimal outlay), the 3x building facades (again, only 250 of a material)... and even then, I'll still be left with some 4k of each material, without even getting any in Acts 2 or 3!!

    There's nothing in particular I want to craft, even in any future Acts. I've got 200+ dead trees, 50 spooky trees & 50+ Jack-o-lanterns from past year(s). All I'll be doing is getting Wailing walls (2.25% bonus + 12hr currency) & spooky walls (0.05% bonus) - the rest I'll blow on whatever I don't have a heap of.

    As bad as it sounds, the crafting this Event is too cheap. :P
    That, and I have no interest in most of the repeats, which is 60% of all "multiples" craftables.
