Homer & Lisa Task: Clean up springfield not available?

Yeah it really is. I mean I can probably cover it up with trees but I've expanded so much land & they just keep piling up. If only they were able to be terminated or put into the inventory or something :(

There must be a glitch unfortunately as as far as I am aware provided you have waste items to clear you should have the tasks available for Homer and Lisa to do.

Unfortunately you are able to put waste/rubbish into your inventory, tried it myself and was told I couldn't do it.

Sorry cant give you fix apart from the usual stuff, like logging off from Origin and closing the app down completely, then re-launch and log in as usual.

The task is only available if there's a mess somewhere in your town. If there's no pollution and you haven't bought a new tile recently the task will be grayed out.

Are you sure its waste? I've spent the last couple of days trying to clean up a spot that turned out to be a burning bush I don't recall buying. Just a shot.

There are a couple of burning bushes that are mixed in with the waste when you buy land. That's probably why you don't recall buying it. :-)

I've found on mine that the task is never grayed out...if I have stuff to clean, it's available. If I don't, it doesn't appear at all in the list of task options.

Hope you can get it sorted, Finesttt! All that stuff lying around annoys me to no end...no idea wha I would do if I couldn't clean it up!

There's at least 2 burning bushes in the land you expand into, and a couple of donuts, although I'd never found donuts.

There are three burning bushes scattered around. The first is in the top row by the mountains, the second is in the farthest left column about 2/3rd of the way down and the third is down toward the lower right corner in one of the high-priced plots.

There is 3 burning bushes. And I had Homer clean up a bunch of junk yesterday and got 5 donuts out of it

Yes, I am 100% sure these are wastes... I have a pile of them in one spot and the only alternative way for me to hide them is to place them behind buildings... I am pretty sure it got glitched specially since there used to be alot of problems in the game and I would sometimes have to do a task over and over. For instance, I was given the task to Build the simpsons house a second time so I think that glitched Lisa and homer. Hopefully in the future, EA will enable the storage of these waste products :(.
