How do I get rid of these criminals?

Werent they an NPC package to buy after that event ended? Can you click on and store them?

Think that it's just one of those wonderful glitches that get into the game from time to time that you can't do anything about, eventually they will probably just disappear from your game, I remember Gill once getting stuck in my town for about 6 months many years ago but it eventually corrected itself, just carry on playing and think of them as a bonus in game item.

It appears you both got free NPCs that no one else has. Wow! I dont see how this is a problem. I would enjoy having a couple escaped convicts roaming my town, "on the lamb", as it used to be said. ?

No I can’t store them. I didn’t buy them. They are just a nuisance.
