How do you distribute gifts?

1 - I distribute gift bags as soon as I get them. I keep a list of those neighbors that have gifted me (and how often) and try to equally reciprocate, with serious emphasis on the "try" part of that.

2 - Usually at the landing zone with the metal tree, but I may nudge the view a bit in hopes of getting the gift bags to land in an "open" space, so as not to be obscured by the tree or surrounding buildings/decor. My aim is not so great sometimes though.

I get way too many bags from some of my neighbors. I have one that drops 5-10 a day. I don't know why I am so deserving of that! I try to give back to everyone who has given me, but I do not get a lot of bags to distribute. I am thinking of buying some, though I hate to spend the donuts, but it just seems really unfair that I can't give to everyone who gives to me, much less repay in kind the vast numbers some neighbors drop daily.

I wish we had enough that I could give to all neighbors, even ones who haven't gifted me, but that's an impossibility. :(

I do try to leave most everything untapped though, so that I can at least have my visitors make a quick in-and-out stop, rather than having to hunt for buildings to collect their gift cards.

Honestly, I would rather that once we reached 30k gift cards, we'd be able to earn extra gift bags rather than coins. I would prefer to be able to gift my neighbors more than anything I could win from the wheel. Too bad that's not an option.

As for dropping, I usually do the landing zone/metal tree area. Unless, they have a big bunch there already. I know that people like to keep track of gifters, so I'll try and keep them nearby, but not make everything a giant mix/mess for them to get through. At times, I have to pick up and move boxes in my landing zone, so I can make sure to tap one at a time so I can keep track of my gifters.

I may get mocked for this, lol, but I actually keep a "notepad" list on my computer for when I tap gifts, and I only tap them from home. That way I can "write down" who gifted what, so I can try to pay them back as best as I can.

I drop a bag off near the landing-tree and then tap 3 buildings.

as the 24h period progresses if I have managed tl put a bag on all my neighbours, I give an extra one to forum regs.......

I dont seem to get as many bags as others.....

I visit at least every other day (daily if I have time) and make sure I give out 5 to each neighbor that I can give to. I have 85 neighbors and not all of them have the update or at least the tree. I place them as close to the tree as possible.

I wish I could read the names better..its awfully hard reading a white name on a white background :shock:

The longer that I have know the neighbor and the more that they've helped me out I try and give more
gift baskets, but I try to give some baskets to the new people I added on just for the christmas event as
well. Its hard to see who's given me some in return because its all white text. :-(

I give gifts bags back to the lovely neighbors that give me gift bags first. If they give me 3 they get at least 3 back, depending on how many I have I will give them more. After those are taken care of I randomly distribute them to my favorite neighbors, the ones who visit my town even when there's no event and even when I'm not visiting them daily.

I give them to those who leave gifts in my town, usually 1/1 when I have enough and the rest I randomly drop when visiting to those with a few or no gifts in their towns.

I always drop them near the metal tree, I try to drop it in a visible spot but it's not always the case, but I make them find-able

For those dropping gifts in random places, in my case, if they are not in the metal tree I will most likely miss them. I'm not even collecting from my buildings to give people plenty of tapping options, so I don't go around my town all the time and they will most likely be picked up by the elves so I don't notice if/who dropped one which translates to I won't reciprocate unless randomly. Thought you might want to keep that in mind.

Because I bought a few elves houses I get around 70-80 bags a day so almost all my neighbors get at least one bag a day.

put your tree on SP. brown background. drop on SP. you see who dropped, they know who dropped.
