How quickly could a player* get to 939?

That's a tough call. It would depend mostly on how big a house farm you have and how often you turn on the XP collider, how well you allocate donuts to multiplier increases and how often you play. Those influence your accension to 939 the most. Every 4 hrs, XP collider on, and a 50 unit house farm of blue, white and puple each, probably 6 to 9 mos. I can't say for sure because I've played for sooooo long freemium, everything is warped out of perspective, and I'm never going to start a new town again. I have a side town already, but don' t use it much anymore, because most of the advantages are now programmed out of the game for fairness to newbies. Two devices on one town played simultaneously, might help out more. But that kid needs changing and feeding and playtime too, right? You guys have an adorable little one, play with him the most, and get ready for the next!

I'd say more than a year... at least.

I played 100% freemium for three years and If I played the same way I did when I started it would probably take more than a year. I didn't house farm or do mystery boxes or buy multiples of anything. I didn't even have any neighbours until I came across this forum when I was trying to find information about Halloween 2013.
On the other hand if my only purpose was to get to level 939 as fast as I could then I don't think it would take more than a few months.

I have been using the collider ever since I got all the level 1 to 60 characters and I mostly use 1 hour tasks. I only have about 10 each of the purple, pink and blue houses and 4 white houses.

I would agree with you. I played similar to what you described and started when the game launched. Up until a month ago I was on like 150. I decided I wanted the full mountain in my town and discovered doughnut farming on here. Since then I go up about 70 levels a day. Think I will be at 939 in a day or so.

It took me 14 months! From July 2015 to September 2016. By that time I had finished squidport, krustyland, springfield heights!
By the way I am a freemium player!

I've been KEM farming in my Freemium game for about... Well, since about when the last event ended.
My multiplier was about 74% when I started. It's now 174.65 because I've been using my surplus donuts to buy more multiplier items (Beach Hideaways!).
I cycle 35 KEMs every 4 hours.
I'm up about 300 levels.
