- Thank you, topic creator. I was actually considering spending some donuts on gold eggs, despite my misgivings, thinking with 9 chances for 50 donuts, surely I would get something. Thank you for giving me the resolve NOT to do so.
I will now save my donuts for something worthwhile, and my cash for better things. finagenesse wrote:

I just started buying donuts and I believe that I'm done. I used 150 donuts to buy golden eggs and pretty much got the exact same stuff as you. Only I got 3 Kang topiarys. I've got 9 donuts left and once I get one more from visiting my neighbors (when the game allows, as it crashes almost after every visit) I'll buy a basket and I'm done buying donuts. Back to freemium for me.
Much nicer thing to buy with 150 donuts: Frink's lab with Frink, Krustylu Studios with SideShow Mel, Community Center with Jasper, Cracker Factory with LuAnn (that unlocks the Fleet a Pita) and all this GUARANTEE no spinning anything, just saying don't want to be mean or anything.
That's exactly why I haven't spent any donuts on this event. There are so many great Premium buildings and characters I want to buy already that I know I could get straight out without the whole chance factor, so that's what I'll be spending my donuts on! :)
To be honest if Sherry Bobbins was available in the premium store, she'd have been one of the last characters I'd have wanted to buy anyway, so I won't be too gutted if I don't win her!Roccaine wrote:
It really sucks to hear that, but you need to know that you played a chance based game to get these rewards. If you spend a lot of money in a casino and you didn't win anything, you can't go to the owner complaining that you want something back either.
TAPPED OUT IS NOT A CASINO!!!
Why does ANYONE think this is okay? This game was a nice, simple, transaction-based thing for YEARS. They just up and changed to something like a casino, and now the attitude is that we should know better than to spend donuts for what we want? We've been able to spend donuts for what we want up until now! Why should we expect it to be different now? And why in the seven hells would we be OKAY with it???neuroheart wrote:

ever get tired of constantly having to explain why this event is so flawed and defending why you don't like it? I don't get why people don't understand :?juliet603 wrote:

I'm beyond tired of it, I'm exhausted of it. (And I get pretty cranky when I'm that tired.)neuroheart wrote:

please please please do not extend this event........................- The bitterness is likely to linger long after the event is through.

As we all know, Golden Eggs have now become available for purchase. I spent 100 donuts and bought 9100 golden eggs and I had 400 already so I had a total of 9500 eggs for 19 spins!! I must have already spun the golden box a dozen times so this would put me over 30 spins total for the event. I still need Bobbins and Father whats-his-face. Here is what I got for my 19 spins:
5 Gates - So awesome looking
6 Fences - The best fences around
3 250 Blue eggs - blue is my color so I would love more!
3 250 Pink eggs - sweeeeet, my rare egg
1 Blue Basket - again, blue is my color so the more the merrier!!!
1 Kang bush
It was so awesome and so much fun to spin the golden box and claim these amazing prizes for my inventory, my inventory will love to have them!
Serious note: I am a player that EA wants to have. I am premium, I play every day, I hype up this game to friends and family to get them to play, to this day I have gotten 3 friends and 1 family member to join (3 of which stopped playing due to this event). I check in every hour or 2 to clear handshakes for neighbors and tap bunnies for eggs. Plain and simple, I am the type of player that EA wants.
I have voiced my disapproval of this event is several previous posts but this one is different. After spinning the

I totally agree. I've wasted 200 donuts on jack. Sorry, but a dozen egg piles and 60 fences are NOT worth 200 donuts, no way no how. I really wish that I had bought the cracker factory or the community center instead. I'm pretty mad at myself over being so gullible- in regards to actually spending money on gold eggs the great showman said it himself
