No, you don't have to rebuild KL. I will have it in my town for now. If land or item limit become an issue, then I may remove it. You can also choose to use parts of KL and not others. At least now, you can incorporate other parts of Springfield into KL if you would like.

Pro:- In order to buy KL decorations and use them in Springfield, you need KL tickets.- You need the Krusty Wheel out if you want Penelope in your town.- The animations on some of the rides are pretty great.- For those who like NPCs, having the KL stuff out will fill your Springfield with more people.- Tapping stuff in KL earns XP just like anything else and, for long-time players, that's more important than IGC.Con:- KL is a land vampire. The nicer you want it to look, the more it grows. For anyone with space, item limit, and/or token issues KL presents a lot of problems.- If you're experiencing any lag due to the size and amount of items in your SF, all those animated decorations won't help matters at all.- If you built a well-designed, elaborate KL, a complete redesign will be a pain even with group storage.- We're already getting a new park with rides and buildings that earn cash and xp instead of tickets and will not double any character's task list with ticket tasks. I&S Land makes KL both redundant and inconvenient by comparison.

I'm at the decor limit.. and my KL was somewhat elaborate (no desire to recreate it). You really bring up some great points.I think anyone bumping up against limits will have a difficult time trying to justify a rebuild. It's players like yourself that this change seems to have hit the hardest. I hope you can figure out a solution you can be satisfied with.

If only we could put round corners in roads, or paths, or pavement. Radical thoughts like that might lead to wanting cars on the road or boats on the water. Oh dear!

Yes, corner pieces for the highway are needed. Improvising with concrete just looks wrong, but will have to do until the get around to designing the proper corners. Otherwise, I’m a fan of the highway.

Well, I did wind up rebuilding KL. As of last night, it's all done. I'm happy with it (which surprised me) and actually like the design more than the one I had in the original KL.
