It's not all doom and gloom. I thought it was too. It's actually awesome for players like meI have been tapping since whacking day but am Freemium and a total scroodge with my donuts. I currently sit at 172.90% multiplyer. I play several times a day. But us freemiums can only get the multiplyer so high. Just this morning I had reached level 61 and I decided to buy the XP boost and do the bloodmobile thing. I had 40M. I'll only get a few hundred levels before my cash runs out, then back to the grindThis new concept is only a bad thing for a small fraction of the players of the game. If your multiplyer is so high you level several times a day then you are the 1% :lol: After all these years I finally was able to afford The Lair and the Springfield Sign.

Hate to break it to you, but this isn't about you. After 3 years, the game has become harder for a new player to get started, compete, and stay interested. While tapped out is continuing to make money - it's not making as much money as it was and its numbers are plummeting as far as popularity in freemium games goes. No new players, no fresh money coming in, no more tapped out.So they're helping making sure the game you love continues - nothing to complain about.You're getting way more free donuts a day than a newer player will - so nothing to complain about.And finally - what other people are doing really shouldn't diminish your enjoyment of the game - so nothing to complain about.

This latest is update is fantastic and I am reaping the rewards for being a long time player, I consider this a thank you from EA, and regarding newer players they still have to complete every single job "we" did and over time will reap their rewards also. Nothing has got easier within the game, just more structured. Don't hate the "noobs". if people stop downloading, the end is nigh. I am happy at this point to continue indulging in my weekly "donut" binge (regardless of bonuts) to make sure this fantastic game stays alive and remains accessible to the masses.all hail TSTO.

I now "level up" 3 times a day, and it means nothing.

As a horrible liberal American who invites the possibility of higher education made affordable, even free...I can't help but laugh at the attempt to draw a parallel between making this "game" easier for new players and the real-life struggles of millions of Americans just trying to keep all the plates balanced on wobbly sticks in a ridiculous circus act called making a living, having a family My European friends, who went to medical school and got free degrees in numerous careers laugh at the idea that education is only for the privileged 1%. And...I put myself through a university in that liberal Mecca, California, in the '70's. I certainly do not have any issue with my own kids who are graduating high school soon, being able to afford a college degree. The term compassionate conservative is a hoot.

Wow! That has to be one of the most selfish comments I've ever seen on this forum.

Just because you had to pay everyone has to pay. Just because you had it bad everyone has to have it bad.

This is what's wrong with America today. Selfishness and greediness.

Way to go in bringing in politics into a stupid thread.

PS: Some people including myself have been playing this game since day one and I for one grinded my way to where I am now and I'm still happy they did this for newbies. It's amazing how much better you see the world when you're not envious and salty over progress...

time and time again this game teaches you that it's not a good idea to be Premium...it's just not worth it
You buy something, then half a year later it's on sale for much cheaper
You buy a 'limited time' item, and then it comes back repeatedly

Limited time means that the item is not available permanently. They can come back for another limited time.

So what if things become cheaper. You begrudge others for getting it cheaper? You pay what you pay to get a thing when you want. You can always wait but YOU choose not to. ( I remember buying Otto and seeing it sold in a bundle 2 weeks later for half what i paid. I was pissed for about two minutes and then got over the "bad timing".)

It's all swings and roundabouts. I'm a long time player so got many things for free that newer players have to pay donuts for (Barney's Bowlerama, Mapple Store, Super Collider etc. ) Rather than begrudge others who now can get what I have (how dare they!) I'm happy that I did not have to pay for them.

The game is not a competition and not about having things that others don't. If you think it is then you show the same self centred attitude that the OP does

Limited time only implies it's here for a short period - does not state if it will or won't come back again
I.E. - McRibs - limited time McDonalds Item, returns yearly
