Idea- the original character designs

I'm surprised they haven't been introduced yet, but what about an event that harkens back to the family's original look:https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/47/Simpsons_on_Tracey_Ullman.png

It'd be a throwback to the old days of the show when it was about just the family and not everyone but the family. It could tie-in with the storyline that they've unfolded so far regarding the Sky Finger if they can work that into it.
