An in-game board would be great! We could have a small space to leave all sorts of customized messages, kind of like a "Welcome to Springfield!" sign with the custom "greeting" below. It wouldn't take much text to ask people to hit high-payout buildings or the SP tile.

Yeah i've noticed some neighbours only tap on my SP tile then go off without tapping on any houses. I like my neighbours to go to my KL all extra tickets gratefully received.

Yes I'm in the Uk and Us players that tap the tile later in their day means I'm asleep and it leaves me with only one extra as I have the 2 tile glitch. I also then don't know that they've been as they often don't even bother tapping ANY buildings.Since we're making up imaginary items: perhaps we can add a little flag in the Simpsons house window which tells people where we live and therefore when we'll be asleep. Just take it down during gremlin type events :). Or a little timer that goes on when you log off to show how long you've been logged out for.Otherwise just do yer tyle tapping in the AM please.

I hate it when people say the desperately need neighbours, visits twice, and then become lazy. If you can only manage 20 friends you should do the right thing and remove the rest.Don't make us start a Neighbourhood Watch that reports terrible neighbours. :P

There's only 2 rules in my town.1. Visit or don't.2. If there is a SP tile ready tap it 3 times to maximize your xp (that's what I do)

So what is the score with the number of times that someone can tap your SP tile and what time of day? Do you have to clear it at the end of the day and then build another one? Thanks for those who have visited me town - but I managed to click on my tile by mistake yesterday and have to wait another day.

Each neighbour can tap your tile three times a day as long as they log in and out of your account that many times. If they give you decent enough time intervals to log in and out you can collect up to three tiles. You can play tile tag as in I tap your when I'm ready for the next one or you can PM each other on this forum to arrange times. I just joined a Squidport add me friend thread and have 10 friends who I exchange daily tile taps with. That way I don't personally feel I have to bother with triple taps.

Just keep one handshake up at all times for as long as you can and only clear the ones on top of that one.

If you want me to tap something good (beside the squidport tiles), then kindly put those buildings in your landing zone. Be good to your neighbors by re-organizing your town to make it easier for the other 100 of us that come to visit you. I keep my spray can buildings in my landing zone for just that reason. Otherwise, I'm at level 37 and could just put those buildings in storage in lieu of something that takes up less space and makes more money.

OTOH, I will come looking for your Squishport tiles... but that's EASY and doesn't take anywhere near 30 seconds.

I have a note on my landing, "Tap Tile". That's all I want. Three times a day would be a beautiful thing, but I'd be super happy with just once. Instead, I get brown house/Simpson house taps all around my note. :( I'm on frequently enough that I don't actually care what else besides the tile is tapped, I just long for help with that darn tile! I did finally make one regularly tapping friend - you're awesome Ditsy!

I wonder occasionally if people purposely disregard the note because it sounds bossy. I don't really know what to do about that though; if I had the dough to buy enough land to say, "Please tap my tile, I'll be yours forever if you do!", I could afford to just go ahead and buy all the tiles. :D I started with just arrows pointing at the tile, but got zero taps out of that. Then I moved to the sign... I don't know what else to do.

@anonymous, I get where you're coming from and I will be redesigning my town once I get a bit more land.

As for those who said they are putting their farm and Channel 6 next to the Squidport to make it clear they are after trifecta taps, this seems like a great idea.

@k8rk8rk8r - My advice is to make tile tapping buddies on the Be a good neighbour and tap on the Squidport thread. Exchanging with like minded souls is all that seems to work.

Sounds like you need forum regulars, rather than random friends. I added you, I got 11 spots left open if anyone needs a tile/ chan 6/ farm friends.

I've moved them all next to the Squidport entrance to make it easier and I wrote a sign in my landing zone.

My tile glitch has the will only hold one extra handshake glitch, so I'm sure I'm missing out on some taps at times. Plus I'm probably on a different time zone to most of the forum members, being that I'm in NZ.
I never had neighbors until the Halloween event, so it's been handy to read on the forums what is considered good etiquette when visiting.
I don't have a huge list of friends, maybe 30? and already I'm probably going to have to delete a third of them, as they've never visited since Halloween ended. But then I have some fantastic neighbors who visit daily.
I myself visit daily and when able I stagger my visits to try and ensure I can give more than 1 tile to my neighbors.

I'm hoping you are getting my tile taps.... I'm trying to stagger my visits also, but it's difficult to know forsure if my friends have received them or not. :?

I had to learn this from the forums too as it's not part of the game's tutorial. Clicking ANY high payout building before the owner has a chance to resets the clock on that building for them. So if they're, say, asleep or at work you can save them up to 8 hours on another big payout. They then get your handshake's payout and if you did it 8 hours before them on a 12 hour payout building, their next payout is only 4 hours away, instead of the normal 12.

Great Thread!

I have figured most of the tips share out on my own, but I did learn a few things (like the News 6) and it was nice to confirm what I thought I learned on my own is right on track!!!! It would have been nice to know this from the start, though...

I visit daily so I am sure my neighbors will appreciate it!
