I'm a lodge tapper.... but...

I tried doing the lodge tapping thing and going back to tap the rest today but it took too long! Plus I kept having to skip through town after town of people whose lodge had already been tapped, so when I went back to them it took extra long skipping to the right ones!

Think I'll just go back to tapping everything and getting less emblems for myself from now on! 8)

I'm the same way. I also have several neighbors who do this. Actually, I have several who will tap my lodge two or three times throughout the day, and several I'll go back to because I know they clear their lodge often. I don't see any harm in it.

delete lodge tappers?

A few people mentioned it on the "Worth visiting neighbours" thread.

I do this as well, but in order to maintain all my neighbors in the same time frame, i have to tap on 1 building if the lodge is unavailable. I have around 40 neighbors, so this leaves me 20 more lodge taps. 100 emblems > 20 emblems.

I try to keep my lodge clear as much as i can through out the day for those who do this as well. I feel bad when i see someone wasted their 3 taps on 1 emblem. lol

I tried it "yesterday" and "today" but it's a pain in the neck. With neighbors who are in different countries and different time zones they aren't all cleared at the same time and even if I wait several hours there is still problems getting in the 60.

It's a good idea if you are going to have problems getting all of Number 1's tasks done(240 can take a dent out of the 400 missed) but it's also time consuming to the point that it's not for everyone. I'll just give them their taps and work on my own way of getting the maximum amount out of the remaining emblems up for grabs.

I'm with the ones who say it takes waaayyy too much time. I recently trimmed my neighbor list by 3 but it still takes me almost an hour and a half (counting crashes) to visit normally. Selective visits take about twice as long.

I have my neighbors on a schedule that is deliberately not in synch with my emblem collecting. The first night I left one tap free for all neighbors when I visited at bedtime. The emblem collecting timer resets in the morning. As long as I tap one camera (lodge or not), that timer resets to the same time each day. Then I have all day to make that one last action in each town, and anyone who has the lodge available will then show the "come back in x hours" message. For anyone who doesn't I can try again later.

At bedtime, if I still have emblems left to collect, I blow through the list really quickly (now that everyone has reset to having 3 possible actions) and tap lodges first. Then I go back through the list to make sure everyone gets 2 taps and all visit timers are reset, leaving 1 free for the whole day tomorrow. That takes 30 mins or so at night, and 5-10 mins at a time whenever I have free time during the day (breakfast, lunch, coffee break, dinner).

It helps that I have a bunch of obsessive neighbors who are playing all day long. :mrgreen: And if I see recent taps in my SF I can check those neighbors right away since there's a good chance they've recently cleared their lodge.

I've thought about it but it takes me so long to get through my neighbours anyway. I'm only on G so far cos my rubbish broadband is really playing up tonight. Sigh. I'd best get back to it or I'll get booted by neighbours H -Z.

wow, do you really think someone who would only tap lodges for their own gain would bother to post on here?

I don't know how to take in game screen shots (galaxy tab 2) but would gladly do so if someone tells me how. I presume you'd want a shot of my neighbour screen saying "come back in x"
