Despite all the complaining (shocking!) about wacking day that went on around here, I think there would be much more complaining if it were to not return.

Thanksgiving is purely an American holiday, but that didn't stop EA from having a Thanksgiving event 2 years in a row.

I would like to see it return but just without the need to make alliances to get enough eggs. Dropping several hundred of the damn things at a time in someones Springfield was a real time waster and there were people who promised to swap then renegaded giving you none or having any eggs left to swap with someone else. Brought out both the best and worst in people.

Reading the recollections from other players makes me quite nervous about Whacking Day. Doesn't seem fun at all.

I started playing in like July. Can someone tell me the mechanics of last year's whacking day? How it differs from recent events, and what made it such an arduous task to collect everything?

please stop mentioning Whacking Day, it's giving me horrible flashbacks and the nightmares are returning...must...whack.....snakes and find eggs hidden behind buildings...AGHHHHH!!!! No not again for the love of god NOOOOOOO!!!!!

What would the new currency be?

I remember my game telling me I still had 1 egg in my town that I could never find. I spent so much time looking for that egg and never found it. Seeing that multiple times a day for 6 weeks drove me insane.
