police dont carry guns in UK?!
No they don't, that's why Muslims feel free to use meat cleavers on soliders in the middle of the city. Not a single person even tried to help. This is why I am proud to be an American and will never stop defending our rights... ALL OF THEM!
Well done Mr America. People did try to help, try researching first
Using a camera phone to tape a hate speech after someone commits a murder is not trying to help. 3-4 people can stop 2 armed assailants from committing a crime. The 3 articles I read said I quote one here "No one tried to intervene just used their camera phones to tape the horrific scene unfolding in front of them." Help means jump on the son of a * and beat his * until police arrive or the attacker is unable to move.cjryder625 wrote:
this quest is pretty much how people in the UK view the lunacy of the USA's right to bear arms.
I don't like guns or own one but why is this lunacy!
That soldier in the UK was just murdered with knifes so its not like guns are the onl y way to harm someone!swmwshrk wrote:

This is easy to say from a distance! But when your up close in the thick of it people are not always so heroic! But give someone a Glock an I'm sure that would of helped- http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo61/zabu_san/Abe-Simpson-walking-in-and-out-the-.gif

Where do you get your information from? A lady talked down one of the attackers and kept him calm even though he had the cleaver in his hand and two other ladies shielded the poor soldier who was already dead from further attack. They stayed until armed police arrived and then left and went on their way. All three say they only did what any civilised person would do. They didn't need a gun. The police only shot and maimed the attackers when they tried to attack the police. Both attackers are now awaiting trial. This is such an unusual occurrence in this county it has been headline news.swmwshrk wrote:

Yeah because America does really well at preventing terrorist attacks from Muslim extremists...
If legislation was made from every act of terrorism then America would have put lasers on every skyscraper. You've chosen a really dumb way to not make a point. Remember the constitution was written by a small group of men a very long time ago. Its not some super infallible irrefutable document written by a deity. I believe the right to not be shot is more important than people still having a right to bear arms but have to have a little bit more inconvenience to reduce the number of crazy people who can get their hands on them.
I feel this is true statement, I am an american an I hate an fear guns. But people have also put the fear of us losing our rights! Which is what I fear more then what you said! I like UK an would love to visit there someday. But the USA is a much different society an for us to say that you are wrong for doing the stuff the way your country does it is wrong! An vise versa.- I think everyone needs to remind themselves this is just a game at the end of the day, we play for relaxation / enjoyment that is it, end of story.

and the shatterproof glasses are working a treat. If the idiots go onto something else we'll ban that as well. You see the vast majority of us want to live in peace without fear of violence or being killed or injured and the vast majority of the time we do. We don't need to carry knives or guns to do that.
You can do some real damage to a guy with a bat or a flashlight or a cane or a brick or a branch or a scissors or a broom or a chair or a fork, etc etc. But it would be tough to live without those things. Jeebus is right (but then, isn't He always?): if you're looking to damage someone, there's always something near at hand to assist you.
yes of course you can but a gun does a hell of a lot more damage than a broom or a chair or fork!!
That's a fact, and not in dispute. But you said you'll ban whatever people use to hurt each other, and I'm saying that's gonna be hard to do
