KL Tickers...without KL?

So, I still can't afford the KL bus, as soon as I accumulate another 50K a new building in SF comes up and I'm down to zero again. But as a lot of my friends do have KL I am often hanging out there and collecting tickets.
Are those tickets actually saved for when I do get KL, or am I basically collecting them for nothing? Also, if they are saved, is there a way for me to see how many I already have without KL or do I have to wait until I can build it so see?

Good Question, not to sure about if you can find out how many you have, as in terms of them saving i would have thought that would be a yes :)

Might be worth saving for the bus stop next then going back to SP after :) Thats what i've told my Daughter to do :) Although she just bought the Retirement castle the game crashed and she lost 35,000$ so she down to $10,000 now and no castle :(

I believe you need access before you can see. I'd put off your next SF building to get the shuttle. Since it's an entirely different currency, that's your only down cost. That way you can resume Springfield buildings after you get the shuttle, and still be able to create Krustyland. Just be careful since some of your quest triggers could be in Krustyland and you may have to send them back to Springfield to advance the quests.

All right, good suggestion, thanks. I will do that. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long :D.

As soon as I have built the bus I will confirm or deny if the tickets were saved. Anyone know what the starting budget for KL is? I think for Springfield it was something like 750 or so.
  • It's a completely different set of currency. You earn tickets there to buy everything including the land.

You get the very beginning land for free.

Edit: realize you probably know it's different currently.

I assumed you got the first square of land for free like in SF. But what about the first building? In SF we had a small starting budget to buy the Simpson's house (during the tutorial) because you needed a building to actually start earning money with. Is it different with KL then? How does it work in the beginning?

I agree with Neo. They should be getting stored, but I'd at least buy the bus just to be sure. The other buildings aren't going anywhere.

The rest of the quests can wait :) get the bus and start the KL quests :D

Look at Sahl's guide at the top. KL is listed first. All your info is there.

    It works like this:

Krusty reports to the map, sees that it's a dump and says someone needs to clean it up. Homer is then allowed access. Fetch him, he has a task to clean up debris (like springfield). Once that is cleaned up (you get tickets), you purchase the unmovable entrance for like 20 tickets (the clean up gives you like 22 or 24 per 1 piece). Then it goes from there. Then slowly you can bring in other characters and such and eventually unlock the decorations and land purchasing abilities.

Yeah defo let us know whether the tickets carry over :D The bus station costs $50,000, the rest of KL is all tickets, long grid if you not speeding up like a lot of people seemed to have done

  • The tickets definitely carry over. My husband was collecting tickets before he bought the shuttle. When he bought the shuttle (and maybe the entrance too, I can't remember) he had over 100 tickets to start with.
