LPN said there's additional land in the files - so it's not dead yet. It seems around July-August come the largest of updates. Last time it was a whole level there, and the time before is when it launched. What will come this year? Who knows. Other than that, there may be a random character add, or prize or whatever added from time to time.
It seems (to me) from the baby event, they wanted to force players to build the shuttle that were refusing to start it. So it might be a way for them to do something in the future.
