My XP hasn't reset to 0 but I got on this morning, had the dialogue from Fat Tony and then there's a prompt saying reach level 58 and get this building as an earlybird special to continue. I have over XP'd, if you will, many times and shouldn't ever need to gain XP to reach a level anymore. This bug must be big! I'll just keep building rail tracks and attempting to get to $200M in SH until they get this sorted out *pops popcorn *watches the back and forth of updates

I had the same thing happen. I leveled to 58, bought the car, began the quests and got reset to 57. I contacted EA who said there was no record of a back up save or synch. They did give me money back. I didn't lose all of my XP. EA claims they are working on this as well and did say others are having similar issues. They recommended synching and logging out every time. FYI: I was synching and logging out after big milestones like leveling up or something similar. It didn't help as EA had no record of me playing at all yesterday. Just take screen shots to keep track of cash and donuts before doing anything major like buying a main quest item, spending donuts or when you receive donuts. I don't think it will get fixed, but maybe EA will prove me wrong.

A couple of things to try that sometimes fixes issues like this first do a hard close of the game and then try playing it again, restart the device that you are playing on and if neither of those work uninstall the game and then reinstall it, if non of those solve your problem then unfortunately you will have to contact EA support and see if they can help fix the problem.

I am chatting with EA now (have been for an hour, they are so slow) He is saying something about rolling back my stats, I have no idea what that means.

Ha ha, I hope that's a joke. No nuking. EA basically said I have to re-do level 57 and work to get my XP back, there is nothing they can do on their end.

What? We lost three buildings worth 1.600.000 ingame cash, several hours of playtime and hundreds of thousands of XP and they really say that there's noting EA can do? They must be joking!

Nope no joking. I did not think to ask about in game cash, but nothing they can do. They offered to reset my stats which would take me back to level 57 at the beginning, I declined.

Omg. That would not solve anything, since basically, our stats were resetted back to level 57 after the infamous patch. Ask for donuts or ingame cash.
