I cannot locate what you refer to, but it's probably just like the Monorail Tunnels where you can choose which mountain it replaces.

That would be cool! Wonder if at least, we can capitalise on that glitch where, while shuffling for monorails there was a gap left that could be filled with town stuff. Some town designers pulled off some really cool designs for a bit with the mountains and gap.

Either way, I love when the mountains can be more of the design than just a break between sections.
