Locked out of game

not a single reply the only thing that I've heard I asked for a status update on the answers page. the volunteers are trying to get me an answer but I haven't received it yet. I'm optimistic they will fix it today, I have a feeling that this is going to drag on for weeks.

Same crashing problem here. No answer within the 48 hours!

I have the same feelings. It took forever for them to fix the "Harpies". This is basically the same thing. I've never gone this long without being in my town. I've never missed, or needed to used doughnuts to catch up, a Mystery Box in the two years I've been playing.

Nothing here either. Am trying a different device again to see if maybe there is movement between Kindle and IOS

Just live chatted with EA again using my trouble ticket and they do not have an ETA for the problem. He referred me to this link as the one that if you post your user name they will supposedly email when it is solved

I'm still stuck at the tap here to crash screen......

I'm having this problem of crashing game for the 3rd time in less than a month (beginning of Easter, than twice within the last week). Even my neighbors crash when they try to enter my game. Two previous times they fixed it by retrieving an old save file of my game, but apparently this time they will investigate it further... Whatever this means... But I must say the last representative I am dealing with has a good sense of humor. They all have been polite and trying to be helpful, but the last one is funny...

Ever since the after-easter update I can get to the splash screen, tap to continue and see the donut spin. Then the game closes. I've live chatted with support, posted on the help forum and tweeted with EA Support. None of these things actually do anything; all there is to do is wait around and see if/when they fix it.

I will say that the lack of concern from all of the support people I have interacted with is quite disappointing. Everyone has been nice and polite, but they have pretty much all told me to just go wait until it's fixed. It's almost like they are doing us a favor letting us play their game. None of them seem to care too much that the longer people don't play, the more they are likely to find other things to do. And it certainly doesn't want to make me spend money on donuts if I know I may not be able to even play the game.

All in all it's been very frustrating, especially since I got back into the game a bit during Easter. Now I'm getting used to not playing again.

So I was visiting my friends from my side towns and I visited my main town. I still can't visit or log into my town, but I can visit my Krusty Land in my locked up main town. Weird.

Edit: I can't go from Krusty Land to locked up main town. No fix. Just an observation.
