All it took as a email to Apple asking for a refund on all in app purchases for this game, never talked to 1 person all email refunded 100's of dollars.
If you want to show the devs what's up ask for a refund.
Or just show a bit of self control and don't buy more than you can afford. We're getting a lot of free stuff during this event too - pretty much the entire Tap Ball stadium and improvements plus a bunch more stuff. Don't get the anger about there being a lot of premium items available...more options are better than less options.
