- I agree with the poster! Typically I am a "completionist" but this game is getting ridiculous for the premium items. Seems like every week or two I am buying more donuts for these events. And it all started with the whale for 300 donuts (Which I didn't buy). I know you can still play the game without buying these items but If I am willing to buy donuts to complete my town I should be able to, just not 900 donuts every two weeks! My theory is they are trying to get back up to #1 on the highest paid game in the app store :s
- I sadly have to agree with most of the posts here. A lot of things about this event lean towards greed on EA's part.
It's true. You don't have to buy everything offered, but what's with the Amateur Bucks????? The amount earned by characters is TOO LOW!! They're almost forcing you to spend donuts to get anything worthwhile.
The price for stadium fences is ridiculous, not to mention what they want for game balls. I'm not expecting to see hardly any balls dropped in my town at that price, and I won't be dropping many, either. I bought a ball as required by the quest line and dropped it in my feeder town and immediately went to my feeder town and do you think I could find the ball? I know right where I dropped it and it wasn't to be found................I had two notifications that neighbors had dropped balls in my town, but I couldn't find them. At this point, I'm not having much fun........ Adamcayce wrote:
Don't be mad at EA. Be angry at the bankers, the heads of the federal reserve and the shadows behind the spotlight.
Be mad at them for quantitive easing: the promotion of inflation and those before them who eradicated any semblance of fair money by getting rid of the gold standard.
They are the reason your wealth is gone, the reason you can't spend lavishly as you deserve after working full time all week, every year.
I'm angry at the tools in this thread who think a costume for Bart that'll be irrelevant in thirty days and a horse from a forgettable episode are worth ten real, American bucks. They're the ones who are encouraging the devs to continue this nonsense.4kidsandacatdog wrote:
I bought Bart and Furious D....best donut deal so far. That said, I don't buy everything in the game, usually only limited time items and then only those that really mean something to me. It seems like EA is playing a version of Sideshow You to determine pricing on premiums lately...there's no rhyme or reason to the price tags.
I'm tempted to buy them. Would you have a picture of them riding about town? Is the task like Bart and Stampy?- Just got a refund for most purchases on this crappy game.
All it took as a email to Apple asking for a refund on all in app purchases for this game, never talked to 1 person all email refunded 100's of dollars.
If you want to show the devs what's up ask for a refund. DogmaTriple6 wrote:

Yes, I agree that is ridiculous.DogmaTriple6 wrote:

Or just show a bit of self control and don't buy more than you can afford. We're getting a lot of free stuff during this event too - pretty much the entire Tap Ball stadium and improvements plus a bunch more stuff. Don't get the anger about there being a lot of premium items available...more options are better than less options.- 'Bye, now.

I agree - I don't go into Best Buy and yell at the manager for having too many things I want, but can't afford. So I'm not going to get mad at EA for giving me an ad-less free game with thousands of free items, and the OPTION to buy other stuff.
