Lol another premium update of 500 donuts, that's it I'm done

If that's how you feel, then yes, you should quit. But no one is MAKING you spend all that money. You don't HAVE to be a completionist to enjoy the game. If you did, then I'd never have had any fun! I just spend what I want and enjoy what I have, and don't worry about the rest. Try it!

If you want to show the devs what's up ask for a refund.

If you want to show people on the internet what's up, brag about being whiny.
  • i wonder if this strategy actually makes them more money

surely if there were only a couple new premium items per month then more people would buy them...so much spending at once must scare people away, I would think

  • imo the real kick in the nuts is when EA just ends up releasing the premium items for a discounted rate in the future, thus increasing buyer remorse by 100 and ensuring that i am more cautious about future purchases
  • I would imagine the flood of premium items helps to boost TSTO's App Store rankings, and this, more than "greedy evil corporate monster is greedy!!" is a primary factor to their business strategy.

I'm guessing that the large majority of premium players don't really care about the total cost of all premium items released, because they buy the donuts they can afford and then pick and choose the premium items they want the most and let the rest go. So I can't see how releasing a wider variety of items to choose from would make them less money - while I'm sure EA is thrilled by players who buy everything, what they really want is just to entice the player to buy something.
