I had something similar with Gil's last deal. Finally gave up after a few days of endlessly trying to connect, then being told all sorts of different stories. It was give up or start smashing stuff in frustration.

The few times i had to contact ea help ( chat) i felt like i was not talking to a real person. Only standart and random anwers. Also they where like been super super super polite , witch made it even more unrreal. :roll:

This is a shame for ea and for those on the helpcenter that do want to help us with issues.
Those people need beter training or should be laid off. I have a job where i need to be polited 8 hours straight and always try and help any way i can. If i cant i need to find someone that can. I give 100% at work for our eldery residents, i can not be bitchy or not helpfull.

Really hope you can find someone that can help u get your 100 donuts back. :(

I spent over an hour on the phone with EA last night, a great way to spend the night. I called three times.

The first person I spoke to was rude, I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said no one was available (I wish I asked for a specialist at that point).

The second time I called, the guy was nice but he put me on hold and we got disconnected, great.

The third time, I was able to speak to a specialist, and he said, "You called three times, stop calling, your claim is denied"

They told me that there was no proof or data evidence that I spent the 100 donuts to buy the mansion, as if I wanted to spend over an hour on the phone with EA to con them out of 100 donuts, they basically called me a liar and I do an appreciate being treated they way they treated me last night.

Did the update come back, and if so, did the stuff you bought reappear? After I forced quit the app and restarted my phone, the update came back and my pond was exactly where I had placed it. I read this on another forum, and for other people(including the ones who bought Bob's house) it worked too.

The tasks to restart the quest came up when the game reloaded, I force closed several times, I tried loading an a different device, I deleted the app and redownloaded, nothing worked.

At this point, I restarted the pond quest. But I am still down 100 donuts and Bob's Victorian House. Its a shame, it's a cool house. If I repurchase it, it will be a 200 donut building for me, and I am hesitant to repurchase for fear that it will be lost again........

My pond is gone as well. It was weired cause homer was doing the camera thing and the pond task at the same time. Then came an update and the pond was gone. Will try the force shut thing and come back when its done

Just tried the violent shut down and it worked. It got me another mini update (the third or fourth today) and the pond was there again with homer and abe finished task 2.

Clockwork bart lost his progress on his ultra pranking task and i had to restart him though.

What is "violent shut down"? I've restarted my device 3 times, no success. Force closed app a zillion times too.

My only help option is Answer HQ. No chat or email. :?
