Luann,Barney or Akira?
I think that Barney is too expensive; but Luann has a nice 24 hour task, and she's not as expensive. Buy the Cracker Factory!

I don't know about any Black Friday Deal dates but I do know you won't regret it when you wait for special offers like rebates/sales, so I'll go with "Other". Who knows, one of your poll options' characters might appear in these or your eyes fall on other discounted items.
Akira will get you a task for potted Bonsai plants so you can produce them. These normally will cost you donuts. His questline is alright.
Luann seemingly has a good questline and will give you the ability to purchase Fleet-A-Pitas. Barney is a loud, belching drunk which is a great addition to your springfield.
My first choice is "Other", as described above. For the characters listed I'd go with Luann.
