max item limit increased to 9100

got a new building warning at 8950, and hit the max at 9100 to confirm an increase of 100 more total items.

  • No, need to just not have a cap AT ALL! The cap is rediculous. They need to get rid of it all together. It's always something with ea, getting tired of it.

If the existence of the item cap is going to be a major impediment to your enjoyment of the game, then my advice to you is quit now. The cap has been around since the early days of the game (late 2012 or early 2013 — not quite sure of the date). It’s all well and good to point out that bumping up against the limit hasn’t impacted your Springfield, but I would imagine that EA game developers are attempting to set limits that allow for stable gameplay for the majority of users employing a wide variety of devices. I’m not saying this to be snotty or confrontational (really). I just think that no matter how long or loudly users complain, this aspect of the game is here to stay. The best we can hope for is that it will continue to increase over time.

  • Yea, I hear ya man. I get why they have a cap. Just no point in playing if your constantly having to adjust the way you design your town to stay under a cap. Where's the fun in that? EA wether it's a mobile game or console always has issues like this, and not just once in a while, seems to be pretty constant. I'm just tired of it, frustrated. Now, I understand that this is a free game and probably should not be bitch in at all but when you've invested so much time into something it's just frustrating.

You’re certainly not alone when it come to being frustrated by the cap. I personally find it a constant source of irritation.
