Maybe someone can help me (update question)
I think all of the ipads were fine, but I play on an ipad 2 anyway and it works fine for me, I have the latest software update and the game runs fine.

- As long as you are buying one of the newer ones, you'll be ok. It was only to phase out old devices.

Just a heads up - the refurbished wifi only iPad 2s on apple.com (go to the store, then in the lower left find the refurbished section) go for $300 - when they have them - they tend to disappear quickly. Nice thing about getting them from Apple - full warranty. If the used ones near you are close to price from Apple, I'd just get it from Apple...- Bump bump
