I turned notifications off, no way I could have this draining my battery every 10 minutes

I think there are some options in the Notification Center ?
Does the "Sound" one turn his voice off? I still want a ding to inform me that somethings done...- yes at least a month has gone by and no notification of any visiter once.
Yet I still get notifications when the characters have finished their tasks.
