Understandable and I agree that the confirmation should just be a given (or at least the default option, though why anyone would not want to confirm I cannot fathom).
To find the silver lining on an otherwise dark cloud, at least you got a new character for your misspent donuts. Many folks accidentally speed up short-term buildings or some other less important result.
Granted, the donut amount isn't the same, but well...I tried. :P
