Notification issues -- anyone else?

Just the one town.

After I turn off the notifications would I... turn them back on? You think that would sync it back up?

At the early part of this year I occasion got something like this, but there'd just be a few seconds left, not an hour or more. I'd check that another task is not finished, maybe the game wanted to tell you about a different completed task and its just confused itself.

Other than that, if you have a Feeder town, or even just a half finished tutorial on the same device, it's not gone, just hidden underneath, completing tasks and alerting you of that fact. But other than that you can wait it out until all of the task are done in your other Springfield koto go

I will often get notifications that something has completed (or a neighbor has visited) AFTER I have already cleared the task or handshake/Alert. Could be from a previous round?

Or it could just be that you're getting someone else's notifications.

I had a running problem that the two games I'm playing would get the notifications for the other game - even though they're on different devices. (Though I had played both games on both devices - that's how it started.)

Only time I get errors is when I cancel a task. My device(s) must save a local timer for when a task will end.
Eg. If I set someone to go to Kwik-E-Mart then store it to cancel the task, I'll still get the "task finished" notification an hr later, when that would've finished.

Aw man. Thanks guys for the suggestions. No second town and no recently canceled tasks, but I haven't gotten any bizarre notifications lately, so I guess it worked itself out. This is one buggy game.

I sometimes get notifications before a task has finished. Not much help, but at least you know you aren't the only one! :D
