Observatory

I love space so i bought it and like it but honestly? Meh prob not. It doesnt really do a whole lot and has a limited number of jobs. The jobs seem to be the odd ball hour tasks of 5 or 16 or 3 cant remmber specifics but dont really fit in with my schedule of assinging tasks that are usually 4 8 or 12. There is a telescope that comes out if someone is doing a job in it and i do like cricket chirps when i click on it lol. And its description for pay is Staring at... Neptune makes me chuckle for some dumb reason i dont even get the joke.

So in summary i like it a lot cause the universe trips me out but i could easily see why some would say no its nothing special and not worth it, specially since you dont get a character with it

Thank you! I hadn't thought of it before now but a pop up said to send people there - and I have hard saved Christmas and event doughnuts burning a virtual hole in my virtual pocket!!!!

Theres a small side quest tied in with the mini space event for it. They did add a few perm jobs after doing the quest. Honestly its nothing special. Think it was a 5 hour tasks for lisa and some other smart people. So it sounds like you dont love the universe as much as i do lol so if your only thinking of getting it cause it prompted you i think you would be kinda dissapointed getting that and its small quest line over some other premium item thats much better and comes with a character. Im just guessing

Well in that case go with your heart and get it lol. I love it and dont regret getting it. That being said i did buy all the character buildings first before i got the observatory just because it didnt come with a character.

It's expensive for what it does. It is just a tiny building that gives Martin (and now Frink and Skinner) a premium 6-hour job. For some reason they left out Database and Lisa who are more connected to the building than those others.

I only bought it cause it was on sale a few months back. Maybe they'll have it on one of those Gil deals again, who knows?

My Frink has the Stargaze task and my CBG has the Interact one.

The joke is that the expected, cheap joke would be "Staring at Uranus" but they chose Neptune instead, subverting expectations. Mildly clever.
