Oh God, the Monorail is NOT a good idea

This isn't even an EA issue.. it's simply a matter of opinion. The developer of the game has nothing to do with whether someone thinks the Monorail would be a cool addition to Tapped Out.

The immaturity on this forum blows my mind.

Why are people suddenly hating on the monorail. I remember when everyone was asking for it and now people are hating it make up your mind.

Ill never understand why someone would threaten that, do you really think anyone, especially EA cares?
I hope we get the monorail, and it's the most ugliest,bulky, game crashing item we get.

why not make the monorail like the krusty bus, and take us to Shelbyville? It could trail off the map so it doesnt cover the town, and we could build Shelbyville and get Shelbyville characters.

I am a paying customer, I have valid complaints and I write them here where they are ment to be. It's really not crazy to voice your opinion on a product that you support especially when the company has a forum for their product THATS WHAT THE FORUMS HERE FOR to complain and give suggestions, yes you can praise them but any person with a logical head on their shoulders knows that EA is one of the worst micro transaction companies out there and they should only be given praise when they actually improve GAMEPLAY not just add more premium content some of which is characters that cost $10 yes $10 and have no voice, $10 buildings with no task associated with it, that is not adding more gameplay to the game that's being a greedy as$ company trying to get as much out of us as possible.
So please don't come here and say that the people with valid complaints amuse you cause you aren't contributing to anything other then higher prices when you read a post and just blow it off like it's some crazy as$ talking yet praise a update with 1 free building and 5 items that are premium.
EA showed you all how much they feel about you at New Years with the free 10 donutes in a game that has maybe 2-3 items that actually cost 10 donutes or less. *****just for fun**** so you got 10 donuts to spend on a 120 donut toon, that's not even 10% of that toon! There's probably 5000+ possible donuts to spend on premium items and they gave you a wopping 0.2% of the content that's available.
Honestly you people just make me sick.

as i said in a thread below i don't see it working well in the game..

it will either be building like the squidport (unlikely) or build like roads but at a cost. i don't think it will look good at all and just don't see the need for it in the game. they would need to add a lot of land and it would require a mass redesign which i don't see myself bothering with for something that i don't see the need for.


would much rather have buildings like stonercutters will big quest lines and skins for all the members.. sideshow bob made into a real character or various other things that haven't been done with longer questlines then they have given recently with new buildings. (like how kirk had a long one when he came out).

besides the monorail has to be a disaster to stay true to the Simpsons.. i don't want some working monorail in my city i want carnage.

Nooooo! I really wanted the monorail and so did everyone! There's been countless topics in it!! What if they don't do it because you all moaned!! It's a fun little app game... Thing! Lets have cool references to REALLY cool simpsons episodes! Just don't buy it if you don't like it!! I hope it goes all around the boarder of Springfield! Maybe it'll just be connected by a few points you place around the town. No one is forcing anyone to do anything they don't want to do.... Unless you want to moan about the monorail... You are forced to not do that... It's kinda lame

IMO they could make Sideshow Bobs toon really fun if they used their head, but we know EA only thinks with their wallet so here's my idea for Sideshow Bob:
Make his toon outside of jobs ALWAYS be found in the Springfield jail, make his task the things that would take him out of the jail once the task is done have Wiggum come in and toss him back to jail.
Maybe make it a choice of 5 different plans to kill Bart/escape that all take 24 hours.

Of course, they could always implement the monorail in a similar way as it is used in The Simpsons: Hit & Run, i.e. a single wrecked train on a short section of track in one small part of Springfield. Given that in the episode (which is one of my favourites) the monorail doesn't even complete its maiden voyage before crapping out, it seems unlikely that it would be implemented as a fully functional transportation mechanism clogging up the town.

In my opinion, that would look pretty sweet in my SF.
