- I agree, I had a nice setup on my beach but I had to change my whole set up for the new stuff and I can't get a nice layout anymore with that stuck in my way.

All I'm asking for is the *option* to tuck it away, is that so bad? We have no choice but to build it to keep the quest chain going. It eats up a lot of (extremely limited) beach space and there's no sign of anything to put on it.

I disagree
Yep! Thats very bad!
Cant we put the usual stuff on it? I'd rather see new and exciting stuff come out for a Springfield Heights chapter 3 rather than retooling and adjusting existing stuff - despite how new and fancy it is.- I love the entrance, but wish there was a viaduct that could be placed from the street. I'd hate to think that the 1%'ers will need to get sand in their imported Italian shoes getting to their yachts, and the club.

Yes! MOAR BEACH!
I like my pier but I think u should be able to tuck it away for the people who don't like it and I think we need more beach for SH anyway
And beach towels, from last year's Easter event! Never got a single one. Grrr.Gary_A_D wrote:

+1
I hate when that happens...- wadebearRetired HeroI'd like to be able to move the Pier and Yacht Club down into regular Springfield. We can move all the rest of the Heights stuff there, why not these?
And after all, we're supposed to be able to build our towns the way we want them... wadebear wrote:

I totaly agree!!- someonewashereRising NoviceSquidport cant be stored, so it kinda makes sense that the ornate pier CANT be stored, however i do agree with you, on the other hand i have 2 other issues with the new update.
The private island for example, placewise it seems strange, you ave two columns of ocean and regardless of where you place it, realistically it is LITERALLY a short swim away (taking away the whole illusion of a private island) if we had more columns of ocean it would seem more credible, not to mention more possibilities to place items in the ocean (kinda cramped placing a few items in two columns)
Second, the yacht club (and the private islands) have planks instead of ornate tiles, specifically the Yacth club has Squidport tiling, which kinda throws of the whole rich area setting in my opinion, so you go through all the trouble of creating a new tile, only to create new items with the old tile?
Its kinda like buying a Brand new latest model car only to add a raccoon tail to the antennae of the car and adding a pair of giant fuzzy dice to the dashboard.
other than that love the new update, sorry to hear your Ornate pier is buggin you , mines pretty good, just have to figure out how to connect it all together. - bluntcardNew TravelerAgree. I would love to store the SP entrance too. It's always bothered me. EA! :!:
