Please separate your baskets!

I have a couple friends with opposite colored baskets right next to each other. Eggs are way too rare to risk clicking the wrong one.

you can always make sure you have less than 100 of your rare egg colour so that way you cant tap the wrong basket

If it's worth anything, you can typically zoom in, and it makes it 20% easier to hit the right one. You also have to try to get close to the icon, but stay away from the nearby ones as well. I did it twice this morning and nabbed the blue and not the pink one. I don't think those neighbors realize why their baskets are not filling up. Wouldn't it make sense when they were visiting other towns?

Well I guess I don't see them visiting me, so perhaps they have no idea.

My town is 100% open, I only tap handshakes and thumbs up. Never the cash sign, packet of dollars, store icon nor restaurant icon. By the looks of it, it's almost hard enough keeping the handshakes clear. But my Squidport gets minimal handshakes, along with my residential district. Landing zone is pretty popular 99.9% of the time, when there's nothing left, people head towards my Christmas area in the top left by the mountains, or down towards Squidport with my shopping center and restaurant districts nearby and prior to reaching Squidport itself.

Lost a total of 100 of my uncommon blue eggs today because a neighbor didn't separate their blue and pink baskets...

If I find the diff color baskets are next to each other, I leave them both and move on to the next neighbor.

YOUR LOSS if you put them side by side - I wont risk tapping the wrong one, so I'll donate eggs to those who keep their baskets VERY separated.

omg this. This has been driving me insane. I have a few that also stick the baskets between other buildings in such a way that I can't tap any eggs anywhere NEAR them because even if I tap on something else further from the basket it ALWAYS still taps the basket anyway... I've lost a lot of eggs this way :( sigh.. makes an already frustrating update even more frustrating. :cry:

When I get baskets, I put my pink ones in my mini golf course and blue ones across town in my park. I hate seeing little rows of alternating baskets that I can't risk tapping. Not only do I want to help neighbors, but I really need blue eggs.

I lost 100 of my uncommon pink eggs last night while visiting neighbors because the baskets were too close together. It was frustrating.

I've decided that I will refuse to put any pink (common for me) eggs in a basket if it is close enough to a blue basket that I could easily accidentally tap the blue boxes. So those people don't get any eggs from me. I think we should all adopt such a policy. Only give your eggs to people using the baskets responsibly!
