Radioactive-Man event getting some traction...

So, yeah...after further contemplation I rescind my comment about a slow rollout 'making sense'. Unless they placate us with another large event in the meantime, ea would be running the risk of alienating some of their loyal players.

Yeah, I think we will see an event sometime soon, it's probably just delayed because the Christmas event went so long. And they're skipping the Big Valentines event, and making it small like Thanksgiving/4th July/* Patricks, so that they can replace it with something different. Will it be big, or so-so, I guess time will tell :)

If they are going to do a Superhero event it would definitely be in June. But I think we are getting a major Saint Patrick's event next week and level 50 sometime at the end of March or early April.

Agreed whole heartedly. There's plenty of time for a Spring event in late March/all of April then a huge one in June.

It also happens to coincide with a huge superhero movie coming out this summer making a lot of sense to wait and do one then....

I was thinking more about this today, and I think there's more hints here for an event then I originally thought.

Since we started talking about this whole super hero event concept, one of the main concerns people have had is that they would want a 'real' and playable Fallout Boy and Radioactive Man, instead of skins for Wolfcastle and Milhouse.

Now look at Lisa's Valentine's questline. She sent a Valentine to Fallout Boy, then is upset because she wanted the real one, and not Milhouse in a costume.

I could be reading into it, but there might be something to it.

I'm still standing by my prediction of this being a spring event, that's enough time to build it up, but not as long as summer so that we get bored.

My own total made up speculation:

Next week: Superheros Event (plus a few new friend prizes)
Early March: Level 50 Huge level (monorail?)
Saint Pat's = a sale/rerelease of old prizes, maybe 1 new item. They've done -- in my opinion -- a lot already for such a small holiday.
Late march/first half of April: Easter Event. (Better be good.)
Summer: Chili Cook off.
