random tasks are back

I'm back to getting two everyday and they are almost always 24 hour tasks. It stopped for a week or two.

I just had three in my task bar. I did the two shorter ones overnight when they wouldn't be in the way, just to get rid of them, but the third is a 24 hour task with a character I need so that's going to have to wait.

I got one for Skinner. It's 24 hours, and I don't have a skin for him that will allow me to ignore it. :x

These tasks are an annoyance unless EA made random ones pay a couple of donuts.

Sooooo dislike random tasks. Even though I ignore it for them for the most part, I absolutely hate having the ignored task in my task bar. If I have a task, I have a need to complete it, but random tasks just make me grit my teeth.... Trying to balance my ocd'ness for completing tasks to get them off my task bar, ignoring random tasks altogether, and the need to use my characters for random tasks or quest/materiel completion.

This is me too, but I'm doing well it enough it's not really hurting me to do the 24 hour ( what ever) random tasks, I can't stand extra tasks just sitting there either.

Does anyone actually like getting them? Do EA think we like them? They're annoying. I'd be one thing if they gave more money and XP, but they only give like $50.

I've had a steady stream of them and my task book has been running at or close to 20 open tasks since the monorail started.
