I think players are leveling up faster than in the past. This causes issues with quest not starting (because they have not finished other quests) and not having enough in-game $$. I feel your pain. Until very recently, I was always saving for the next big purchase. Then I stopped buying just before Stonecutters and, except for the level 42 quest, saved money. I'm mostly freemium, but the cash is now rolling in. And now I'm spending it on buying all the land. Then I'll probably get some aspirationals.

I must be doing something wrong, then. Before I finally caved in and started house farming, I didn't make anywhere near the kind of money it takes to purchase buildings like that. I imagine saving up for something like the magnifying glass would still take me nearly a month, and that's with a multiplier in excess of 50%.

For people who have been playing a year or more like myself the prices are still low in comparison to their wealth. (A lot of those people have at least 5 million or a ton more. I have about 12 mil myself) But I think it is hard for people who haven't been playing that long and are still grinding through the levels because they don't have that much money yet.

I do think it's unfair on newer players. Those of us who have played a lot longer got a chance to build up a lot of money between some level updates, now the jump in price has made that really hard for people who get new levels immediately. It's like they've done it for the older players because they know most have millions, but not considered the people who started playing later on and haven't had the chance to accumulate loads of cash.

First thing I did after that was to save up a base of $1 million. Now I act as if my balance is everything above that million so I have a reserve if I need it. Still, I've managed to buy a lot more land, and have been redoing my layout in the last few days.I guess eventually I'll have enough stockpiled to buy some Bloodmobiles. The Sit-and-Rotate is way beyond me at the moment.

Some of us who have been playing this game from close to it's inception have earned the multiplier bonus that allows us to double and triple our daily take on income and jobs….

Stop your whining and start working on increasing your multiplier……….

Purchase the things that increase your profits and stop complaining about what others have EARNED!

I understand it's annoying. I too have to wait days to earn enough money to start the new level (in my feeder town). In my main town I had 12 million dollars and nothing to buy. I have all of the land, buildings and inspirationals. I was sooo happy to see the new 10 million building.

You too will reach that stage and it gets really boring. I think the new extremely high prices are the writer's way of trying to keep you from getting bored.
