Some of You have really nice Towns :)

Fritter, echoes, uman, I'm glad to have you as neighbors. You all have great towns and it's nice to see you posting here too. Hope you come around more often!

Thanks for the adds so far. The additions from this thread have been great! Hardly any house-farms. I would love to keep adding more!

I admit I've had moments where I realize my town isn't as awesome as I thought it was while I was putting it together. But likewise I'm still able to look at my town and tell a story about why it's laid out the way it is. It makes sense to me, and after spending as much time as I have with my it I've realized it's very difficult to move stuff without it looking VERY strange to me.
Like I currently have the Guilded Truffle just chilling on a block that includes the retirement castle and Dr. Hibbert's...and it makes no sense. But I can't think of a better place because moving it looks "wrong".

Same with Burns' Manor, which is currently smack dab in the middle of town. And will likely be there until I've saved enough to buy one of the two monuments and can start buying more land to move things around.

I think that most of the "good towns" are built using his approach - there is little life in town what doesn't follow some kind of logic. For me it was natural to place Burns Manor on the most expensive patch of land, build the observatory in the mountains and bowling alley along the highway, create my first park near the school and so on. I have tried to build my Springfield into town where I would like to live.

After reading so many accolades for JayTay, I'm really honored that my friend request was accepted. What an amazing town!

I just accepted a bunch of friend requests this morning, and I'll be deleting some house farmers and people that haven't played in ages, so I'm looking forward to having some awesome new neighbors that take as much pride in their Springfield as I do!

and yes, beards can get quite stinky. its just normal hair. ill shampoo/condition mine every 3 days. summer is the absolute worst though. ugh its like wearing a scarf on a 90 degree day. also foods that are more liquidy can drip in there (soup, nacho cheese, chili, chicken wings, ice cream). oh ice cream can be bad too. you know that dried milk smell? imagine that on your face on a hot day....

With all those foods stuck in you beard, I'd be tempted to shave it off and use it for flavouring, like herbs n spices in my cooking, Lol
