Springfield Swap Meet can't be placed next to road?

seems a bit strange, maybe an unintended issue with it being designed to be placed over a road?

If you place the swap meet first then you can place the road next to that edge.

I found what also works, is to select the swap meet item with the area select tool. Then, when I placed it by the road edge, that road turned orange like it was in conflict, but then it placed without removing the road section.

yea must be the |road| placement screwing it up

I'm glad that I came across this thread as I hadn't realised that you could put a road through the swap meet until I saw it. ( I now have a road through mine )

The image is wrong to begin with. The booths should be face to face, not facing the same direction. I have never been to a swap meet where vendor booths were all facing the same direction.

Do you mean the booths at the swap meet itself with the weapons, handicrafts and records or the individual stalls and carts behind the warehouse? It could work if you put pavements or roads outside the stalls and through the swap meet then put some little tents or stalls alongside the pavements or roads to make them look like one sided aisles.

I used similar items to devilhunt1449 apart from the premiums and combined the swap meet with the Taste of Springfield from last year. I'm finishing up my design for the Swap Meet Stage then I'll post them on the showoff post here.

Mine is on a corner next to two roads. No problem at all.
