All these things give you money or donuts or both, but to buy all these thing you need a lot of money, keeping up with all the game story needs to buy this building for such and such costs a lot , how am I meant to maintain high money?
I started out by building houses that earned their cash in the same interval I’d be checking in. So if you can check in every 8 hours, build those. But if you can check in only every 12 hours, build those. If you can check in only once a day, build those. This is the most efficient way to house farm cash until you can KeM farm donuts.
Keep in mind, most of us here have been playing 10 years. This is a long term commitment game, so it’s beneficial to relax and not let the desire to “have everything now” get out of control. For my first 7-8 years, i just did not buy any premium items. I saved all donuts, unless it was something i really wanted. The Yearbook has improved our chances of getting premium items at a discount, but don’t get too caught up in premiums early. Almost everything comes back around. Be mindful of limited release items which are less likely to return, like episode tie-in items. Those may be worth buying immediately if you want to have it.
Eventually i realized the key to success lies in the bonus multiplier. That’s when i started stocking up on anything that increases bonus at the most efficient rate, which is roughly 1% increase per 10-15 donuts. So i bought mini nukes, snowcats, and jet bikes any chance i could. Once my bonus was above 300%, keeping the Collider running made more sense. Eventually i stopped KeM farming and used Rat trap trucks instead. Then I switched to KB Oil Rigs.
Just try to have fun designing your own Springfield, and don’t get caught up in a rush to “have everything now”. I do have almost everything now, but it took 10 years to do it without spending much real cash. But spending real cash is what keeps the game alive, so don’t feel bad about doing it. (An occasional purchase here is less filling than a beer, and tastes better, for example.) Happy tapping!
