Tentacle Trees - best bang for buck?

Another tentacle tree would be fine, but it only gives bonus money and xp. The last protien string goal seems pretty aggressive so I'm hopefull well get something that helps with that. I mean even during Easter we got a free egg generator without too much effort. This event is already a grind and there's a long was to go.
