**Terwilliger Event Contest: NO LONGER Accepting Submissions**

Great idea! My only thought is to give people a few days after the event ends to work on their designs.

One question - if you have a monsarno design and an opera design, can you submit both separately?

That's a good question. I can see people wanting to submit designs around the farmers market or gas station as well. It should be clear whether it's open to all prizes or limited to just the two main areas.

My thinking right now is to start the voting June 1, but if people ask for more time, I'm glad to change the date.

That's one of the questions I have as well! I'd like to hear opinions. I'm leaning toward one entry per person. There are so many distinct buildings in this event, things can get out of hand quickly!

I edited the opening post to make it clear that all buildings will be eligible. I've also indicated I'll accept murals. I want this event to be as inclusive as possible. If someone wants to make a counter argument for a more limited scope, I'm glad to hear it.

I like that all buildings from this event are eligible. It certainly adds to the diversity we should see with this contest.

Rather than multiple category entries which we submit pics to, maybe have multiple awards to a single entry pool?

So we all submit pics, one or several, into one thread. After a week of open entries, voters then choose...
- best Mobsarno campus (I'll leave that typo!)
- best gas station
- best use of cornfields
- best Opera theater
- best of Twilliger event

and others if there's support of course. Best use of porta johns? Lol

I think you're missing the point. You could submit a pic which includes a gas station and a cornfield. It may win for one but not the other. Voters decide. The difference is having several pools with one winner each, or one pool with several winners. The latter sounds simpler to manage in a forum to me, but I'm not coordinating it, just offering a suggestion. Idc
