This is unfair. I have nearly 9000, and the only thing I sped up was the gypsy. In fact, I really resent the assumption that anyone with 10,000+ goo has been cheating. With 100 friends and checking friends regularly, it is very possible to get such a score with spending any donuts.

I sped up nothing and am at just over 4,000 in town 1, just over 2,000 in town 2 and town 3

I have 6600+. Just thought you might want to know.

The key is to have friends you know will visit you, like forum regulars. We tend to take of each other. Look at your friend list. Random invites can't always be counted on to pull through for you. So much easier to call people out. Stroll along now.

If you have 100 friends and you haunt three buildings and tap five ghosts, you get 800 goo a day.

On top of that, every gremlin you get is worth at least 2, 4 if they aren't tapped, plus ghosts in your town, hauntings in your town (600 a day if every friend haunts three buildings), goo quests, premium items giving ghosts, the burial grounds, etc.

It is entirely possible to have 10k by now, legitimately.

Exactly how I've done it. I don't see why you think it's cheaters because I have got over 9000 GOO without speeding up so its pretty possible.

BTW, speeding up tasks isn't "cheating". If someone chooses to use donuts to speed up tasks, that's a viable strategy - I wouldn't want to spend my donuts that way, but it's not cheating unless the person got the donuts via a hack.

If you wanna buy donuts and use them to speed tasks, go for it! It doesn't make you a cheater...
