The State of the Game address -or- My two cents about TSTO Easter.

Could be. I think we've still got a while to go yet, though. Sure this event was hard, but evidently plenty of people have still bought donuts for it, to possibly support it's further development. I guess we'll see what else they come up with to try and entice us to part with our money, going forward. As far as I can see, they're working things out as they go along, so hopefully the feedback they receive from this event will pull them back towards a more player-friendly model.

I hope that Tapped Out lasts a couple more years at least, even though Easter was a teeth grinding very upsetting event for most people, I overall enjoy playing. The quests are for the most part well written and and the detail of the the characters and decorations, for what they have to work with is very decent. My favorite animation of all time was Homer being all pac-man style last Halloween! I'd love to see that again this year but who knows hehe
  • You say it has no new players, but I only started at christmas. And when I cleared out friends for easter, the twenty new friends I added turned out to all be new players. This isnt a facebook game, its one of the most successful freemium games of all time based on one of the most successful tv shows if all time. Ending it just wouldnt make sense financially for EA, and with as many episodes as the show has, even if it ended tomorrow, people would be discovering the show for decades to come.

I dont see the game going anywhere, especially as people im friends with in the game have posted on here theyre quitting because of easter yet are clearly still playing.
